Scripture Prayer

Psalm 51: 1 Have mercy on me, O God,
    according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
    blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
    and cleanse me from my sin.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
    and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
    or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
    and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Psalm 139: 23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.

Not Delay

The word of the day
Is not to delay
The word is to relent
Turn from sin and repent
Tell every person and friend
Life on earth has an end

Are you prepared for what lies ahead
Open your eyes and lift up your head
This isn’t profound
Look all around
What is found
People are bound

The word goes out this day
Take your sins & throw them away
Repent from your sinful way
Be fruitful and do not delay
Gain life and do it today

The Message

The message is now sent
From sinful ways repent
You are running out of time
Turn now away from crime
Sin you cannot afford
Turn now to Jesus the Lord
Persecution is at the door
It has already begun to score
Return to God before it’s too late
Do it now; do not hesitate
You cannot claim to be dumb
The word has now come
Turn away from sinful ways
Now and for the rest of your days
Eternal life is at hand
Receive this word and take a stand

Privilege

This is not a law
But during the 10 Days of Awe
We have the privilege
To seek God’s knowledge
To go before Him with praise
Thanks and songs to raise
He alone is the Mighty One
Great and awesome things He’s done
First of all, He gave us life
Salvation saved us from strife
He is there daily by our side
In His peace we can abide
He will see us through each day
As we follow Him along the way

I love this!!! When God calls you to do something impossible and you have to deal with people or an overwhelming situation, God is the One who clears your way and makes your path straight. God is the One who can touch a heart and prepare the way to go where there is no way.

“Their hearts melted.” The enemy was no longer strong and courageous. Fear had seized this powerful enemy who was dwelling in a fortified city, so they were not a threat to God’s people any longer. Nothing can withstand the fear of God.

God kept His promise to His people. He went before them preparing their way enabling them to achieve the desired goal. As long as His people were following the Lord God’s instructions they were successful in everything they put their hands too.

God did it for them; God can do it for us. When we honor God, God honors us. God can go before us in an impossible situation and prepare our way, so we can make it safely through. Only the Lord, God of Israel can do this. Praise be to Him, who sits on the Throne, all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever.  Amen. Hallelujah!!!
