Everyone will have to give an account of their words on Judgment Day to the Lord God. No one is exempt.
36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Lord, help us to keep guard over our words. Help us to control our tongues; to use our tongues for good and not for evil. In Jesus Name.
Are you tired and weary? Are you worn-out, frustrated, or burdened? Are you carrying a load to heavy that’s pulling you down? Here is the solution for you. Call on Jesus, follow Him, learn what He says and he guarantees you rest; you will definitely find relief.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
John the Baptist was not the only one in the New Testament who preached repentance. Jesus also taught repentance.
Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. If you don’t know what is meant by “the Kingdom of Heaven or the Kingdom of God” I suggest you go directly to God and ask Him. Search the Scriptures. He will reveal to you what it means. It is better for you to go directly to Jesus and the Holy Scriptures than for me to tell you. You will truly be blessed.
The overall message is to proclaim the Good News – Jesus Christ is Son of God and Saviour. Repent of your sins, follow Jesus and you will be saved. You will have eternal life in heaven with the Mighty One.
*Proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven is near
*By the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ Name heal sick, raise dead, cleanse leprosy, drive out demons
*Do not worry about what you are to say or how to say it; the Holy Spirit will speak through you.
*People will hate you. Stand firm to the end.
*What Jesus tell at night, speak during the day
*Proclaim the Good News (about Jesus) to everyone
*Don’t be afraid of man or anyone; God knows all.
*Above all, love Jesus and follow Him
Jesus has compassion on people. Jesus not only heals, performs miracles, and cast out demons, he also has power and authority to forgive sins. Jesus saw many were harassed and helpless and responded to their needs.
* One has to remove what is in the way for Jesus to come in – meaning: repent of your sins and then Jesus will gladly come to you when you ask Him too.
*Jesus healed leprosy – Jesus wanted too.
*Jesus said, “Your faith healed your servant. Just as you believe, so it will be.”
*Jesus touched Peter’s mother-in-law and healed her.
*Jesus said, “Why are you so afraid, you of little faith,” and calmed the storm.
*Jesus cast out demons setting two men free.(people are afraid of what they don’t understand.)
Lord, you are the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. Give us the faith we need to believe and trust in You. As You did miraculous things and healings move us to the place where we can trust You in all things and for all things. Blessed be Your Holy Name. Thank you Jesus Messiah
*don’t judge others
*don’t cast your pearls before swine
*ask (get), seek (find), knock (open door)
*do onto others as you want done to you
*how you spend your time in life will determine where you spend eternity. Your time = what you do, think, say
*there are two kinds of people – foolish & wise
