Favor. What Ruth did was made known all over the community. Her selfless-love and kindness was brought back to her. She was protected and provided for. Those around her were told not to rebuke her. They were told not to embarrass her if she does something she’s not suppose to do, because she doesn’t know their custom. God’s hand of provision and protection was upon her, which blessed her and the old widow (her mother-in-law).

Giving up all for the benefit of an elderly person who has nothing – seemingly nothing to life for. But God….God changed everything for both the young and the old woman. He gave them both something to live for; something to hope for. God renewed their faith and strength. God brought revival to their lives.
