Truth

There is lots going on
Yesterday is gone
We can’t go back
there’s been an attack.
We must move forward
devastation is horrid.
We need to pick up the pieces
as the Lord releases
His power and might
brings us through this plight.
All eyes on Him
will erase what’s dim.
The way will be hard
but will not be barred.
Vision will be clear
there will be no fear.
All of our trust
is a must.
To avoid bumps in the road
truth has to be sowed.
If we walk that way
we will be okay.

The Nose

The nose knows
how this goes
If it’s a good smell
then all is swell
If it smells bad
don’t get mad
look to see what’s around
the smell needs to be found
Once identified
it must be crucified
then all will be well
so you can dwell
without fear
from what was near
Just take care of the nose
for the nose knows how it goes.

Right and Just *Jer. 21:3-5

Do what is right and just. Rescue the one who’s being robbed. Do no wrong or violence to alien, widow, and orphan. Do not shed innocent blood. Carry out these commands and you will live and be blessed by the Lord God.

3 This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place. 4 For if you are careful to carry out these commands, then kings who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this palace, riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by their officials and their people. 5 But if you do not obey these commands, declares the LORD, I swear by myself that this palace will become a ruin.’”

Eleventh Hour

O Great God in heaven
the hour is eleven.
There is so much to do
and much to go through.
What lies ahead
we must not dread.
We can stand tall
watching the enemy crawl
Though not with our eyes
we must realize
faith is our walk
it’s not just talk
Stakes are high
many may die.
Can’t afford to be detained
steadiness must be maintained.
Walking in God’s authority
is top priority,
keeping our eyes on the Lord
wielding His mighty Sword.
He will steady your way
clearing anything away
that will cause you to fumble
or your feet to stumble.
If He does lead
we will succeed,
so hold your head up high
on the Lord do rely.

Curtail

If from God you stray
going your own way
your life will curtail
and become quite stale.
Are you willing to change
maybe even rearrange
the thoughts in your head
and where they have led?
Don’t you want to see
what the Almighty
for you has in store?
It is so much more
than we could imagine or think.
God can do it in just one wink.
Why do you wait?
Why hesitate?
The time is right, the time is now
if you will change, you will say wow!

Corral

In order to have good morale
my thoughts I need to corral.
Wrong thoughts lead me astray
bringing me the wrong way
What’s on the inside
reflects the outside
Get a good grip
those unwanted thoughts strip.
Strip them right away
do not delay.

Be careful of your thinking
Are your thoughts stinking?
Are you in self-denial?
If so, that will defile.
~
From the negative tape
the mind needs to escape.
Wrong thoughts understood
does the body no good.
~
Turn to the holy Word
It needs to be heard.
On God’s Word maintain
the mind will sustain
and will have peace
wrong thoughts will cease
giving way to a new way of life
which will cancel past strife.
This is a brand new day
it’s time to walk a new way.

God of Justice *Isa. 30:18

Great promises from the great & mighty God who is just.

18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you;
therefore He will rise up to show you compassion.

God of Comfort

He is the God of all comfort
He sees the pain in the heart
He knows the hurt and hardship
~
Go to the Mighty One
tell Him what’s in your heart
He does take hurt and pain
He is a God of restoration
~
Honor Him with your words
Honor Him with your eyes
Honor Him with your mind
Your heart will find peace
Your mind will have ease
~
God is a God of honor
God honors those who seek Him
God is not mocked
His Word is true
Blessed be His holy name
His glorious and wonderful name
