Off Track

If you are off track
The Lord will bring you back
In Him there is no lack
If you have been hacked
Or from behind whacked
Or just plain smacked
Turn to the Lord now
Your mind and heart bow
The Lord will help you somehow
Or if you have been lured
Turn and obey God’s Word
Your prayers will be heard
The Lord will show the way
He will guide your day
You will then be okay

Do not hesitate
To say
The Lord God is great
You will find
God is kind
All days
Call upon His Name
This day
Give glory and fame
His way
Give honor and respect
To God
His Word do not reject
Give laud
Let us in one accord
Praise our awesome Lord

Yet Again *2 Chron.15:2b

“…The LORD is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” (2 Chronicles 15:2b)
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
(Matthew 6:33)
Yet again, plain and simple. It always goes back to the choices we make. Do we choose the Lord God or not? Do we seek Him or not? The choice is ours to make. It is an individual choice that has to be made. Choose ye this day whom you will seek/serve.
God does not change and neither does His Word – from the Old Testament to the New – same.
Amos 5:4, Isaiah 55:6, Jeremiah 29:13, Luke 12:31, , Matthew 7:7, Hebrews 11:6
All these verses from the Old & New Testaments say the same thing. Seek God …

He is…

The Lord God is not stagnant
He alone is magnificent
None can compare to Him
Everything else is quite dim
He is radiant; far above all
On His Name He lets us call
He is worthy of all praise
Yesterday, today, and always
He is kind and forgiving
Blesses those who are living
He is full of mercy and grace
Our sins only He can erase
He is our protector and shield
To Him our lives must yield
He is righteous and true
Kind, loving, and gentle too
Compassionate and caring is He
Holy is the Lord God Almighty

Avoid Disaster *1 Chron. 15:12-15

Disaster had broken out the first time, because they didn’t follow God’s instructions. They just did what was right in their own eyes. (1 Chron.13)
For full understanding and back ground information read 1 Chronicles 13 first then 1 Chronicles 15:12-15 makes a lot more sense.
The lesson here is to seek God first. Pray and seek God’s way before doing anything.
David had learned a very hard lesson the first time by not praying about the matter first. This time, before doing anything David sought God. God answered him and gave him specific instructions, which were totally different from what David had done the first time.
Lord, I am inquiring of You about how to do___________ in the prescribed way. Reveal to me the right way to deal with ___________.

You and Me

Every man
Every woman
Come and hear
The Lord God is near
The One who is and was
Look at all He does
He wants you to know
He loves you so
Repent of your sin
Let His love in
No one can afford
To reject the Lord
He is so great
Do not hesitate
To call on His Name
It is not a game
Have you heard His fame
Salvation from Him came
Give Him your life
He’ll save you from strife
Jesus will set you free
He does this for you and me
