Short but Potent

In my daily devotional, Ashes to Fire year B, I came across this word that’s a powerful truth. I need not write anything else for this is short, but potent. Good to meditate on today.

“They were to learn that the spiritual always excels the material, that when God takes away one blessing He always gives a better. Have we not learned these things?” (Bertha Munro, Truth for Today)

Lord God open our eyes that we might see beautiful things from Your Law. Thank you for Your grace. Thank you for Your mercy. It is in You alone we find rest. Blessed be Your holy Name.

Trust *Proverbs 3:5-8

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
