Give Your Best *Ex. 23:19

Exodus 20:24b  “Wherever I cause My Name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.”
God causes His Name to be honored where He chooses, and it is there that His Presence will come and it is there that blessings will flow.

Exodus 23:15c  No one is to appear before Me empty-handed.”
Do not appear before God empty handed. When you enter into a church and a collection is taken, be aware that you are not giving to a person or place, you are giving to God. God is the One who designed the tithes and offering system. The tithe and offerings go to God, however humans are put in place by God’s authority to manage tithes & offerings. We need not worry or be concerned about what others do, as long as we do our part and give to God what is due.
~~~
The tithe is 10% of gross income, not 2% or 5% or any other percentage. An offering is separate from the tithe. An offering is optional, but the tithe is not. God is very clear about this in Malachi 3:6-12
If you seem to disagree with me, then take it to the Lord in prayer. Ask God about tithe and offerings.
Exodus 23:19    “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.”
Give God your best. Best firstfruits = 10% gross pay.  The paycheck is the fruit of one’s labor.
Honor God with tithes and offerings. Honor God with material wealth. Honor God with your words. Honor God with thanks and praise. Honor God with your deeds.
Sorrow
When you are feeling sad
And are filled with sorrow
Gone is the peace you’ve had
Because of worry about tomorrow
This need not be
It doesn’t have to be at all
Call on the Name of God Almighty
He will tend to your call
He alone can remove sadness
Because of His love and care
Turning sadness into gladness
By tending to your prayer
Oh how marvelous He is
He is so mighty and grand
I’m so thankful we are His
We are protected by His hand.
