Today is a beautiful day
But moreover
It is the last day
Of Passover
So many blessings
Did amount
From His unending
Glorious fount
It is a time to take
And remember
It is a keepsake
For every member
The Great I AM
His promises are true
The God of Abraham
Did rescue
Yes, this Mighty One
Delivered the Hebrews
What He has done
Is freed all the Jews
Out of Egypt
They were led
God equipped
Them as He said,
“Come and follow Me
I will be with you.
Come and see
Freedom awaits too.”
God cleared the way
As they left bondage behind
Oppression and dismay
Joy and freedom they did find
