Lukewarm *Rev. 3:14-22

Revelation 3:14-22;NIV

Lord, may You open the ears of all who hear and/or read this word. May Your truth be revealed. Strengthen Your people. Take discouragement and despondency from all who have given way to them. Compromise and weariness be gone. Wake up Your people O Lord, so that they may know where they stand or not before You, God Most High.

You who are lukewarm: Do you not realize that you are lukewarm? This is a serious state to be in. Take heed! The time has come to come out from asunder. Rise up. Rise up. The time is now. Seek God. Ask God for direction and clarification on the state of your spirit and soul. Don’t worry about hearing, just stand on the fact that God is listening and will lead you whether you can see it now or not. Later on down the road, it will be quite evident that God was, in fact, directing your every step. Let fear, anxiety, and doubts go. Stand firm on God’s love, promises, and Word. God’s Word never comes back void. Take hold and be rooted in this, for this is what will bring you life.  Arise.  Arise.  Taste and see how good the Lord is. Many shall fear (honor, respect, revere) Almighty God and put their trust in Him – Him alone.

Wake up, and take charge. Turn to God and stand on His promises. They are yea and amen. Do not let circumstances and hardships get in the way of the promises of God. Stand firm. Grow not discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Pick up the hope and faith you have dropped; take hold of it, and do not let it go. Stand on the promises of God; do not lay them down, do not put them down, do not let them be taken out of your hand. Hold tight, hold fast, endure what is happening in your life. God is good and knows exactly what is what. God is concerned about our lives more than we could ever realize. Above all, know and stand upon the truth that God is sovereign and very much in control.  Awake!  Awake!  Awake, O you peoples of the Lord. Arise and take your place. Why let it go…. because “things” are not happening the way you thought they would or the way you think they should? Don’t buckle under the pressure and difficulties of life. God’s ways are not our ways. His thoughts are so much higher than ours. God never gives you more than you can handle – be sure of this.
