~~~
Don’t jump to conclusions. Talk out the problem with the ones who you think are causing trouble. Listen to what they have to say. Things are not always what they appear to be.
~~~
Lord, keep us from jumping to conclusions. If something or someone seems to be causing trouble or creating a disturbance, help us to find out what the situation really is about. Keep us from being judgmental. Help us to see people as You see them. Help us to love as You love. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Rest & Peace *Joshua 22:1-9

Joshua 22:1-9

~~~
Doing what the Lord God requires of you will bring rest and peace to your soul. But don’t forget or become lax in Him. For today – this day, we are to remember: Never forget what the Lord God has done for us; how He has provided, protected, healed and blessed us individually and corporately.
~~~
5 But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to Him, to keep His commands, to hold fast to Him and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
~~~
It is all about HIM. It is all about the God of Israel – the only true God – God Almighty.
This reminder should be ever present in our minds and influence us to keep our eyes, minds, and hearts on Him who is Most High – the King above kings, Lord above lords – Yeshua HaMashiach; Jesus Messiah.
Not One Failed *Joshua 21:43-45
Joshua 21:43-45
~~~
Following Jesus and doing what he commands brings forth peace and blessings.
~~~
44 The LORD gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the LORD gave all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.
~~~
We, too, can take God at His Word, for His promises never change and never end. He is true to His Word.
~~~
Thank you God for Your faithfulness to Your Word. We can always find hope, help, mercy, and grace in You. Thank you for Your Word and all the wonderful promises You have given to us. Lord, help us to keep our promises like You have kept Yours. Your promises never fail. Your Word will always prevail. Your promises are never ending; unchangeable, and never bending. They always hold true because they come from You. In them help us rest, we, Your people, are so blessed. In Jesus Name. Amen.
~~~
Lord, it is You we hail
Your promises never fail
Your Word will always prevail
Because it comes from You
It will always hold true
You’re faithful in all You do

Provision *Joshua 20

~~~
God takes care and provides for the innocent. He not only watches over them, but makes sure they have protection from those who seek to do them harm. God is good and just. In Him we can trust.
~~~
Thank You God that You provide for those who need Your help. You are a gracious, merciful, kind God. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Ensuring Victory *Joshua 15-19

Joshua 15-19
~~~
Even though the enemy is powerful, larger in quantity, larger in height and stature, had better weapons and chariots they were defeated because God – the only true God – was with the Israelites. God went before His people ensuring the victory.
~~~
We, who are God’s children, will gain victory over adverse situations and events if we follow His leading. God is a gracious God, who wants His people to succeed successfully. As Scripture says, in the New Testament, Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Just call on His Name and you will be saved – not might be saved, not probably will be saved, but He will save your life. Yes, our God is gracious, kind, loving, and always victorious.
~~~
Lord, God of Israel help us to keep our eyes on You as you lead us through the storms and hardships in life. Go before us and clear our way, so that we can stand victorious giving You all the honor, glory, and fame due Your Name.
The Promise *Joshua 14
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Joshua+14&version=NKJV;NIV
~~~
God is concerned about community. If one man (human) out of the whole community does what is right – follows God wholeheartedly then only he will be blessed by God.
~~~
God keeps His promises. It might take time, but it will come true whether we believe it or not. It took 45 years for Caleb to receive God’s promise. He was 40 years old when the promise came, and now he’s 85 years old. You might think – Ahhh!!! But look at what Caleb says 9 So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.’
10 “Now then, just as the LORD promised, He has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time He said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.” Caleb is more than alive and doing well. He is strong and vigorous, full of energy – just the same as when he was when he was in his younger days. He is ready and able and wants to do what would seem impossible. He has the right frame of mind. He knows he can attain the goal, because God is with him, helping him, and God keeps His promises. And so it was.
~~~
So, no matter your age, God will keep His promises. He will give us physically what we need to accomplish our goal with success. We only need to trust Him and take Him at His Word. Age does not matter. It is faith that counts.
~~~
Thank You God for Your faithfulness in keeping all of Your promises. Grow us up in our faith in You, so that we can trust You no matter what “things” look like. Draw us to You our King. Help us by strengthening us to walk by faith and not by sight. Be blessed, glorified, and honored in our lives. Hallelujah! Praise Your Holy Name.
Three Times *Joshua 10:12-15, 22-26
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Joshua+10&version=NKJV;NIV
~~~
Before Joshua began leading God’s people the Lord spoke to him saying, “Be strong and courageous. Do not become terrified. Do not become dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” God commanded this right at the beginning when Joshua began his leadership position. Joshua spoke to his subordinates and they were happy to support him as God’s leader; the commander of God’s people. They were unified in saying they would do all Joshua commanded, but added one more thing; telling him –be strong and courageous.”
~~~
Now the table has turned and Joshua is now telling the leaders of the Lord’s army  “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous…” (vs. 25)
God met the needs of Joshua. Joshua was now bold, strong, courageous, and would not give into fear, discouragement or defeat. He experienced the blessings and miracles of God and knew God would keep His promises, so he truly had nothing to fear or worry about. Now Joshua was encouraging the leaders under him to trust God completely.
~~~
When we have an issue and God helps us overcome in that area, we in turn can share our experiences with others and encourage them that they too can be successful if they put their trust in the Lord God.
~~~
Lord, thank you that we can call upon Your holy Name any time and You hear our voice. Open our eyes to see the blessings and miracles You pour out daily in our lives. “Open our eyes that we may see the wonderful things in Your Word” (Ps. 119:18) All glory and honor are Yours forever and ever. Amen.
