Coming *Jer. 4:4-31

Repent! Disaster is coming! It’s a time of judgment. This word goes out to every single person – call on the One who saves, the One who is, the One who was, and the One who is to come – Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Christ). Repent! Turn from your evil ways. Judgment is coming. The Lord God Almighty declared it, so it is so. No one knows the time or the day. Turn from your evil ways and be saved. It is the desire of the Mighty One that none should perish but have everlasting life.

Father, open our eyes to see what we need to see in order to be saved. Purify our hearts so that we are in right standing with You, God our Saviour. Bless and strengthen Your people. Thank You.

How to… *Jer. 4:3-4

This is how to repent:
Break up unplowed ground – those things left undone in your life, where hardness has come in, things not wanting to deal with, wild ways, self-will instead of God’s will.
~~~
Sown among the thorns: those things that choke the life out of a person – worry, fear, anxiety, and deceitfulness of wealth. The Bible states in Hebrews 6:8 that those things sown among thorns are endangered of being cursed; becoming worthless. Repent and ask God’s help to cut you free from the thorns that are around you & in your life.
~~~
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to plow the hardened areas in my life. Dig up all the rocks, roots and remove all the debris that does not belong in my heart. Purify my heart and make it clean.
Remove all the thorns in my life along with all the weeds and set me free to live and to love.
Thank you. Bless Your holy Name.

Come Clean *Jer. 2:1-3:15

In order to come clean there are two sins mentioned here that need to be dealt with:
1. God is forsaken
2. Idols; idolatry
~~~
Repent of your sins. Don’t say I (we) have not sinned. Repent and come clean – no more doing evil, but following the Lord. Then God will forgive you and bless you; no longer frowning upon you. When we repent God will give us shepherds to lead us with knowledge and comprehension.
~~~
Lord, show us where we have forsaken You and Your Word and if we have committed idolatry. Lead us into repentance and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thank you. In Jesus Name. Amen
