Sovereign Lord *Isaiah 40:10-11

The sovereign Lord; the King of Glory will rule and reign forever. There is none; there is no other like Him.
~~~
10 See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power,
and He rules with a mighty arm.
See, His reward is with Him,
and His recompense accompanies Him.
11 He tends His flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in His arms
and carries them close to His heart;
He gently leads those that have young.
New Inning
A brand new beginning
Will start a new inning
Get ready to fly
With Adonai
~
The old is now gone
No need to be forlorn
The old will not raid
As a new way is made
~
All praise and Honor to Him
He has removed the grim
He will shine His light
Making our way right
~
Thanks be to our God
Give Him thanks and laud
As you yield to Him your heart
You will see a brand new start
Comfort My People *Isaiah 40:1-2
The Sovereign Lord declares:
1Comfort, comfort my people,
says your God.
2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed,
that her sin has been paid for,
that she has received from the LORD’s hand
double for all her sins.
Which Way
Lord, in order to know
which way I should go,
may you release
Your peace.
You will guide
open the door wide.
If this is not the place to go,
make it clear and let me know.
May I feel uneasy,
which will make me queasy
if there is an infusion
in me of confusion.
Then I will definitely know
this is not where I am to go.
So, now I await.
This is not random fate.
God is in control.
It is Him I extol.
He will show me
exactly what I need to see.
So now I say, “Thank you
for everything You will do.”
Behold *Isaiah 35:4
The Lord God is in control of all things. Do not fear nor be afraid justice will be done in due time.
~~~
4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.”
