Yom Kippur

On this Yom Kippur
Lord it is You I implore
I come to seek Your face
asking for mercy and grace
asking for forgiveness of sin
and to cleanse me deep within
~
Move in us this day
show the error of our way
expose all sin
that lies within
lead us to repent
from our sins relent

Appeal *Job 5:8-9

Do you need a miracle in your life? Do you need something done, a change, help that isn’t humanly possible? Bring your appeal to God. Only He can do great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number. However, do not become discouraged if your answer does not come right away. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. God’s timing is perfect. Waiting is hard, but God is merciful and gracious and will respond to your appeal. Job had to wait a very long time for his answer; however it was worth the wait. God blessed Job beyond what he could have ever thought, dreamt or imagined.

8“But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before Him. 9 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

These are great verses to meditate on. Fill your mind with these thoughts.
