Surprise

I came upon,
something going on.
I am quite aware,
there’s something in the air.
I came to surmise
it might be a surprise.
I have a hunch it is for me,
because they didn’t want me to see.
When I was out,
they were hustling about.
When I walked in,
they all had a grin.
I will have to wait to see,
if the surprise is for me.
